Profile - Mercy A. Champlin
General
 Mercy Champlin is
a practicing massage therapist with 26 years experience. Ms. Champlin
founded Health Rhythms Medi Spas to provide an opportunity for experienced
and knowledgeable medical and therapeutic practitioners to serve the needs
of California's Inland Empire. Their goal - to achieve the
best possible well-being status for our clients. The Riverside - Health
Rhythms location (opened in November of 2000) is the first clinic to present
this marriage of philosophy and practice. The second clinic (opened in
May of 2005) is located in Hemet, California.
Biography
Mercy was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1962. She began her
massage career as a Red Cross Youth volunteer at the Veterans Administration
Hospital in Salt Lake City. In 1976 Mercy began performing volunteer work on
many members of the Society for
Creative Anachronism (SCA), who practice marshal arts in the context of
recreating medieval sword and armor tournament and war combat.
Mercy has owned or managed several businesses in the Inland Empire.
Her passion for massage continuing unabated, her decision
to begin Health Rhythms in 1999 was the only logical thing to do.
Health Rhythms Medi Spas - Riverside,
the first clinic of the company, has been opened for 5 years. Sandra,
Mercy's longtime friend, and Mercy have now opened a new clinic in Hemet.
Mercy is a licensed Massage Therapist and practicing
Doula. As a
Doula
she has applied her experience in massage, child rearing, touch therapy and
management to provide unparallel support services for expectant mothers in
the Inland Empire.
Hobbies
Sandra and Mercy have a long-time involvement in the study and
re-enactment of the middle ages. Many of their crafts and other middle ages
objects will appear around the Medi Spa as decorations. Health Rhythms - or is this a passion? Raising her
children, waterfall chasing, star watching, attending SCA events, and
friends.
